How it works here
Theory in a small in-person group or live by video with a tutor. The 16 hours of practicals aboard our own sailing yachts out of Puerto Banús, on weekend intakes. And we handle the exam admin with you: dates, fees and paperwork.
On its own, the PER is a motor licence. To skipper a sailing yacht you also need the sail endorsement (16 h), and to use the radio, the SRC/ROCA (12 h). Those three together are what actually lets you charter a sailing yacht — and the last two are done once in your life.

Only if you also do the 16-hour sail endorsement. Without it, the PER is a motor licence.
Yes. With 24 further hours of practicals on passage, including night navigation, it extends to 24 metres and also covers the mainland–Balearics crossing.
